Our massages are tailored to fix and/or prevent our client's muscular problems.
This requires thorough assessment and deep massage treatment when required.
Sports Massage uses a combination of deep and light strokes using elbows, knuckles and fingers to loosen muscle adhesions and release Trigger points (knots) in dysfunctional muscle tissue.
The majority of our clients come in wanting and expecting a good strong massage however we are aware that everyone is different and the depth of the massage can be modified depending on the clients needs to ensure that everyone enjoys their Sports Massage Specialists experience.

Mike has been a Remedial Massage Therapist for over 10 years. His study has included a Human Movements degree as well as Remedial massage studies at the Australian College of Natural Medicine and Australian Institute of Sport.
Throughout his massage career, Mike Jones has worked with QLD and Australian Rugby league, QLD Bulls, Australian, AIS and English cricket; AIS gymnastic; Australian Netball; Australian Mountain biking and currently works with QAS triathletes. Mike now concentrates on his clinic work which involves improving his clients postures, decreasing muscle and joint pain, enhancing post exercise recovery and injury prevention.
Matthew Reinbott
BHSc (MST) Dip. RM Cert IV.
Matthew graduated from a Bachelor of Health Science (Musculoskeletal Therapy) in 2008. His other qualifications include a Diploma Remedial Massage and Certificate IV Massage.
Matthew currently works with the Brisbane Lions (AFL), Queensland Bulls (Cricket) and Queensland Reds (Rugby Union) as well as at the clinic.
Matthew specialises in heahache relief, reducing muscle hypertonicity, joint mobilisations, and postural assessment. Prevention of injury and treatment for existing injuries is also apart of the treatments.
Along with a Remedial therapy treatment Matthew can incorporate ancillary techniques such as Cupping, Myofascial taping, Lymphatic Drainage and Superficial Dry Needling.
All of Matthew's treatments are based around the clients wants (i.e. you)!
Kim Hogarth

Kim has recently moved up from Tasmania where she worked with high level AFL players.
She is passionate about people’s health, fitness and wellbeing, so what a perfect place to work where people are already taking steps to care about their health and fitness. Kim is very much looking forward to meeting each of you and helping you get your body back on track.
